After months of preparation, customer support, and anticipation, we are delighted to share the highlights from an unforgettable evening at the Scottish Home Improvement Awards 2025, where we were honoured to be named Scotland's Best Door Company and received a Highly Recommended Award for Outstanding Customer Service.
Behind The Scenes: Our Journey to the Scottish Home Improvement Awards 2025
In our very first year entering the competition, the journey began with a visit from members of the Scottish Home Improvements Awards events team, who came to our showroom to learn more about who we are and what we do. During their visit, our team member Danielle took part in an interview for SHIA TV, giving viewers an inside look at our company values and commitment to quality.
From there, it was over to our incredible customers to show their support by voting for us - and we were absolutely thrilled to receive the email confirming that we had made it through to the finals in not one, but two categories: Best Door Company and Outstanding Customer Service.
In the weeks that followed, our team dedicated time to preparing our awards submission, securing our gala tickets, and eagerly counting down the days to what promised to be an unforgettable evening celebrating 10 years of the Scottish Home Improvement Awards.
Behind The Stage: Our Unforgettable Awards Evening
The awards night itself was truly unforgettable! It was incredible to be in the same room as so many talented professionals from a wide range of trades, all excelling in their fields. The Scottish Home Improvement Awards team delivered a fantastic evening - complete with outstanding entertainment, engaging presenters, and the amazing GBX to close the night.
The first category in which we were finalists was Scotland's Best Door Company. Competing against so many other outstanding finalists, and being our very first year in the competition, we were understandably a little nervous but excited about our chances of winning. After the Highly Recommended awards in the category were announced, it was time for the finalists - and with a mix of surprise and pure joy, we were ecstatic to hear our business name called! Our team proudly made their way up to the stage to collect the award, with photographs capturing the special moment.
After collecting our award, we were invited to the Winners Lounge with the Scottish Interior Podcast. It was a wonderful experience to share a little of our story and savour the joy of winning.
While we were in the winner's lounge, the awards for Outstanding Customer Service was announced - and we could hardly contain our excitement when we learned that we had been honoured with the Highly Recommended award in this category. We eagerly returned to the photography area to capture the moment and celebrate our second incredible achievement of the night.
It truly was an amazing evening, ending with our team celebrating two prestigious awards and reflecting on a night full of pride, joy and gratitude - while cheering on all the other incredible winners and finalists.
